Each piece of the Pott 89 silver modern flatware is constructed using a clear geometric linear framework. The Basle-based goldsmith Alexander Schaffner, a member of the Swiss Werkbund, is the creator of this distinctive cutlery design. A distinction to be made about Pott flatware silverware is in the knives which all have an invisible serrated edge that is very sharp for cutting meats yet barely visible so as not to distract from their design. Still made in Germany in the Mettmann factory, the pott silverware is a high-end cutlery made of high quality 925 sterling silver following a family tradition of skilled machining and hand polishing that spans several generations. Pott flatware is dishwasher safe.
