Iittala's roots are in mouth-blown glass, a specialty that started the company in 1881. Nothing compliments candlelight like glass. It's reflection off of and through glass can change a room in so many ways depending on the color and shape of the votive or candle holder. The Iittala Kivi votive is a classic that is often copied but not with the saturation of color nor the right proportions. Every year new colors are introduced while some put to rest for while.
