The iittala Essence wine glasses, designed by Alfredo Haberli, introduced the idea of having as few glasses as possible to accommodate a full range of fine wines. Side by side these unique wine glasses express a sense of balance. The base is a little wider at the bottom for stability. The shape of the Essence wine glasses was purposely designed by Haberli to optimize the enjoyment of the bouquet.
