Adonde is a French company with a Spanish name. The Spanish definition of Adonde is “Where” and this is the basic concept of the company. Adonde designs are minimalist and focused around the table. Everything Adonde does is with respects to the environment. This means producing their tabletop products locally, using recycled materials or materials that are safe for our environment. Adonde spends particular attention to raw materials they use in terms of quality and where they acquire it. Adonde makes their products using non polluting stoneware, all-natural enamels. Even their packaging is made from recycled cardboard, FSC certified paper, and only uses wood from well managed forests. Adonde’s approach to design is to make objects that are plain, that can be used differently and for different purposes. Adonde believes that the more simple an object is, the more it will be useful. The idea is that the object created can have multiple purposes, which are only determined by the end user. A simple concept with extremely creative results.
