POTT 2725 flatware in 18/10 Inox, Fish serving set. Modest understatement is the hallmark of this clearly articulated cutlery shape. In contrast to the bold and exuberant style of the fifties, it exhibits an air of purism in its absolute reduction of the formal elements to their essence. Carl Pott wrote about it to his friend, "It should be a perfectly good conventional design, with which one can spoon, fork and cut." The cutlery was awarded North Rhine Westphalia's State Prize; one of the defining moments of Carl Pott's artistic career. The prize jury described this design as "exemplary work on account of its simple timeless form".
