It is the subtle oversized shape of the Corky carafe and its matching pair of glasses that grabbed Fitz and Su's attention. The designer says the inspiration was the archetypical bottle and the Corky's straightforward combination of glass and cork achieves just that of a bottle, as a wine carafe, a water jug or even a milk bottle. Corky has simple and familiar form but with a simple interpretation. The large cork top is easy to operate and visible in use. With matching glasses, the Corky carafe makes a great bedside carafe for water, too.
