The Arnolfo di Cambio Cibi series of modern crystal barware was designed by Cini Boeri who worked with Marco Zanuso before starting on her own, concentrating on interior architecture and industrial design. Boeri dedicated great attention to the functionality of her designs in architecture and in products with interest in the psychological relationships between people and their surroundings. Arnolfo di Cambio is a company that specializes in the production of fine crystal objects made in Italy, whose cut, reflection and light refraction are exalted by being handcrafted using ancient techniques and timeless designs, reinterpreting classical forms while making them contemporary. Unlike an industrial process which is a repetitive production line stamping out identical copies of one model, making the Arnolfo di Cambio Cibi is a traditional craft that has been handed down and learned from the ancient glassblowers of Colle Val d’Elsa, who since ancient times have practiced this difficult art of mouth-blown crystal glassware.
