For this piece Designer David Weeks was inspired by the Japanese Shinto Kumi-ki puzzles. If it were not made of wood the Cubebot actual looks very similar to Japanese Robots made of plastic and require batteries. Cubebot therefore merges two Japanese traditions into one new toy. The Cubebot is made of Sustainably Harvested Cherry Wood and has elastic band joints that allow you to make endless poses. When it is time to put him away he folds back into a perfect box or Cubebot. The Cubebot is recommended for Children over 12 and Fitz seems to love his. There is also a Extra Large Cubebot available from Fitzsu that is signed by the designer.
