Alessi Shiba modern Cookware is a multiply pot of AISI 430 aluminum and 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror polish. The Shiba stainless steel cookware was designed by Naoto Fukasawa to include all that most people require in their daily cooking needs which is slightly different from extensive traditional cookware sets. For a family of 4 and maybe a couple of guests, a cookware set of Shiba should suffice. The modest shape of Shiba cookware hides the exhausted study of detail that Fukasawa gives all his designs in order to maintain a purist expression and minimalist aesthetic. The wood and Bakelite handles distinguish the Shiba from other cookware. For the minimalist, the Shiba cookware would look great in an office kitchen, a country home or pied-a-terre.
