| Alessi Programma 8, Originally designed in 1975 by Franco Sargiani and Eija Helander, is a revolutionary interpretation of table serving tools, now produced by Alessi it represents an organic and complete project of small domestic objects that are modular and sectional, and designed for maximum practicality and flexibility of use. As with the original design, in this Alessi 2005 re-edition, the first, most important, unit of the "Programma 8", is a stainless steel tray, Alessi's specialty is surrounded by ceramic containers, which now come with polypropylene covers with SEBS seal for the preservation of chilled foods. The Alessi system also includes a condiment set for oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, with glass stoppers and stand in bakelite, matt outside and shiny where the measuring scoops are kept. The salad set, lasagne server and cheese knife are also made from stainless steel. The chopping board is made of evaporated beech wood and has hemispherical feet with non-slip rubber. |
