Alessi 401 Coffee and Tea Service by Kristiina Lassus. In the history of Alessi, the coffee service was until recently one of the most explored products. Many of us still recall the Avio, Dani and 101 series, there being only a few sizes of the latter still in the catalogue. The Alessi coffeemaker was for several decades of the strongholds of their product line and it has been used in numerous hotels, restaurants and bars in many countries. The new 401 series, like the name, which follows Alessi's classic nomenclatures, fulfills their desire to reassume an important role in the private sector and hotel spheres. They used all their experience with this type of product in this project: the drip-proof spouts, the ergonomic handles, the cover that extends into the neck so that water condensation deposits drip onto the table cloth but collects inside. Its stackability, and the 180 degree cover opening so that it can be placed on the draining rack; these are all details that truly make this a professional product, carefully developed to keep the series in the lowest Alessi price range.
