Stelton Denmark partnered with leading Danish architect Arne Jacobsen to produce the Stelton Cylinda Line. Launched in 1967, the Cylinda Line was immediately attracted considerable attention for its serene and functionalist design. The company rapidly grew due to the success of Cylinda-Line in Denmark and on export markets. After Arne Jacobsen passed away in 1971 a cooperation with Erik Magnusson, was established. His first creation for Stelton was the stainless steel thermal carafe or vacuum jug with the unique rocker stopper. Despite the fame of Stelton's Arne Jacobsen design collection, the Stelton jug or Stelton thermos is now the company's best selling product. In fact the Stelton vacuum jug dominates its segment of the market. In 2007 Stelton joined forces with the Norwegian company Norstaal. Joining the two Stainless tableware companies strengthens the Scandinavian design influence in the world of design. This also expands the Danish tableware flatware line 10 fold.
