The Orange ANYTHING Alarm Clock is a practical, modern, functional desk clock by designer Michael Sodeau for Suikosha of Japan. The ANYTHING clock is just one element of a complete modern desk accessory set. Sodeau who is British has done an excellent job capturing the unique modern Japanese esthetic of his employers. The ANYTHING Alarm Clock has a very unique shape that resembles a dolphin’s fin. This allows the ANYTHING clock to be displayed in several unique positions, including one in which hide the clock face entirely, transforming this sculptural clock into sculpture. Each piece in the series has excellent balance and feel, while the color palettes chosen by Sodeau are spot on perfect. The ANYTHING clock and the rest of the ANYTHING desk accessory set won the Best of the Best Red Dot award in 2009, and it is no wonder Company and Design are already making plans to work together again.
